After lunch, rent a kayak or book a clearwater kayak tour, where you can enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Seven Sister Springs.
Return to the campsite and relax by the campfire under the stars.
Day 2:
Wake up early and have breakfast at the campsite.
Drive to Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. Arrive early to secure a parking spot, as it can get busy during peak hours.
Explore the springs area by hiking along the trails. The springs are connected by a series of boardwalks, offering stunning views of the unique underwater caves and crystal-clear waters.
Take a refreshing swim in the springs to cool off from the Florida heat.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the designated areas near the springs.
In the afternoon, consider renting a kayak or canoe to explore the springs further. The peaceful waterway and lush surroundings offer a fantastic opportunity for wildlife spotting.
Return to the campsite in the evening and have a relaxing dinner.
Day 3:
We recommend an additional day for more springs exploration but if you’re cutting it short.. After breakfast, start packing up your campervan and cleaning the campsite.
Check out from the campsite and start your journey back to your starting point or your next destination.
On the way back, consider stopping at Weeki Wachee Springs, another beautiful spring in the area,, for a final dip and some more hiking.
Depending on your time and interests, you might also visit nearby attractions like the Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park or the gulf beaches which offer great opportunities for boating and wildlife viewing.
Arrive back at your starting point by the late afternoon or early evening, ending your memorable campervan trip to Seven Sisters Springs.
